PROJECT “IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CIVIL CODE OF UKRAINE”

The joint project of the Centre for Judicial Studies and the Centre for International Legal Cooperation (Netherlands) financed by Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs MATRA Program

The aim of the project: to render implementation assistance to the new Civil code of Ukraine by development of training materials on problematic questions of the civil legislation and organization of training courses for judges, advocates and public notaries; preparation and publication of information brochures for the general public.

Partners of the project:

Supreme Court of Ukraine;
Ministry of Justice of Ukraine;
Ukrainian Bar Association;
Centre for International Legal Cooperation (CILC) (Netherlands).

Target audience: judges, public notaries, advocates, population of Ukraine.
Duration of the project: January 2005 - December 2007 .

Released a new joint issue of the Bulletin Council of Judges of Ukraine and the Center for Judicial Studies devoted accessibility monitoring, effectiveness and impartiality of justice in Ukraine.
